Die Blattkäfer Baden-Württembergs [in German].

The book has 928 pages in full colour with over 1000 pictures of living beetles, food plants and habitats, in addition 70 pages with mounted specimens and 12 pages with genitalia.
It covers [despite the title] all German Chrysomelidae (543 species), but for the state of Baden-Württemberg more detailed data like collection records and red data list are given.
The species chapters contain:
- synonymy, taxonomy, ecology/habitats and food plants, development, biochemistry, economic importance
- parasites and parasitoids, as far as they are known
- distribution of species in total, also regions within Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Alsace, as well as detailed records for Baden-Württemberg
- threat classification including red data listings for Germany, Bavaria, Thuringia and Baden-Württemberg
For over 80 % of the species living pictures in large-format, mostly in-depth pictures are included; for more than 50 species the early stages are also pictured.
More than 10.000 literature records have been screened, of which more than 2.300 are cited in the 66-page literature index.
The determination keys of Freude-Harde-Lohse have been included, updated and streamlined. This is assisted by genitalia pictures of critical species groups and all Alticini.
